Happy New Year 2010!

In year’s past, we’ve gone to a friend’s house for their annual NYE party, but since we’ve kind of drifted away from that friend, we’ve tried to come up with something else to do for New Year’s Eve.

Last year, we went to one of our favorite “high school spots” to ring in the New Year with some friends.  We had a great time,  but it would not have been near as fun without having some friends there.  In fact, we went back to that same place this year without the friends and we were miserable.

Then, we went to a local restaurant to maybe grab something to eat.  No such luck since they had JUST finished serving for the evening.  We were barely there long enough for them to clean off the table from the previous guests!

So right before the clock struck midnight, we got a phone call from a friend inviting us over to his house so we headed over there to celebrate!

We were already pretty tired, so after we rang in the New Year, we felt a little like this:

Don’t believe me?  This is how we looked at approximately 1:00 am…right before we went home.

No that is not a drunk glazed over look, that is a “We are seriously about to fall asleep” look…we are so old!  It actually was good that we headed home then because we were planning to head out at 6:00 am the next day for Arkansas!

Next up, our trip to Arkansas to see Alex’s new place!
