SEC Championship Part II: Pre-Game Edition :)

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you probably heard some of the hype that led up to this game.  Last year, we lost to Florida in the SEC Championship and they went on to win the National Title.  This year the boys were back with a vengeance.  I had the worst time trying to concentrate on homework for all the press and hype videos :)

Anyway, Alex and I had to pick up our tickets at the will call gate starting at 12, so we hopped on the MARTA and headed that way.  On the way, we made some sweet new friends (Bama fans of course) so they made the ride go by much faster!

We arrived at the dome around 11, just so we could go ahead and get in line and boy was I glad we were there early because this what we saw when we arrived:

Let me explain this picture to you.  The first 5 lines you see are for Florida tickets.  The rest are for Bama tickets.  Can you tell which team takes their football more seriously ;)

We hopped in line and in the next hour, this line quadrupled in length.  It was cold so I was glad we got there when we did!

We thankfully only had to wait about 30 minutes after the line opened to get our tickets and we ended up getting tickets on the 9th row behind the field goal! :)

After we got our tickets, we headed to the SEC FanFare at the Congress Center.  It was packed, but it was nice to be inside out of the cold.

I didn’t take too many pics because it was too hard to juggle all of my things, but we did grab this picture in front of the “Bama wall” before we left! :)

    

Then, we headed to the dome to get settled in our seats!
