I thought this was supposed to be summer “vacation”…

I know I got out last Thursday and my hopes were to get so much accomplished this summer on my summer “vacation”, but things have not really slowed down at all!! I can’t complain too much because today, for the first time, I don’t really have anything I HAVE to do so that’s nice…but this is just one of the few off days!

I’ve got a lot of updating to do between the final few days of school and packing, Josh’s graduation, job hunting, my summer job and I promise I’ll get to them very soon.

Today is my clean house day before I start working on my temporary classroom for the summer!! I’ll try to do at least one post a night to catch up ;)  Anyway, just wanted to check in…back to cleaning!

Cleaning Poem

I asked the Lord to tell me
Why my house is such a mess.
He asked if I'd been 'computering',
And I had to answer 'yes.'
He told me to get off my fanny
And tidy up the house.
And so I started cleaning up...
The smudges off my mouse.
I wiped and shined the topside.
That really did the trick....
I was just admiring my work.

I didn't mean to 'click.'

But click, I did, and oops I found
A real absorbing site.
That I got SO way into it.
I was into it all night.
Nothing's changed except my mouse
It's very, very shiny.
I guess my house will stay a mess...
While I sit here on my hiney.
